I met this woman when we were juniors in high school. I'm not sure how our friendship started, but it had something to do with "J'aime les frites" and "les petit pois." Serendipity happens when life does; she and I ended up in the same apartment complex at the same university. She is a strong lady who has given so much help to so many people. She has the kind of strength to tell me when I'm being far too kind and the kind of strength to tell me to accept the help she has to offer. She has been absolutely amazing to all those who have crossed her path. She is going so many places in life and I am proud I could be a part of this place with her.

I swore I wrote about him earlier. This man is a hero of mine. He is a mentor, teacher, and a friend. A neighbor. A musician. Such a great musician. You could give him a simple melody to play on the piano and he could construct something that tastes sweeter than the air. He could never be found without a smile on his face. He was always the one to open the door when I needed to borrow some powdered sugar. He passed away suddenly today from a heart attack, on his birthday. He was only 53 and recently celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary. His music is needed to accompany the angels in heaven and bare testimony to those who have never heard air so sweet.

She has been someone I've looked up to since Junior High. She has such talent and grace that I've always wanted. As a senior, I am walking in her footsteps and could not have asked for a better example.
7*8*13
Erika Whitmer
She saved my life in school. I couldn't have passed math and succeeded the way I did without her. It will be hard to go on through senior year without her. I wish her the very best.

He is my very best friend and he is the nicest person ever. He is like his last name.
12*24*12
Josh Brown
He's always been someone I looked up to (literally). He has become a fantastic friend. He is so kind and is really funny. When I nearly went into shock, he helped me get out of it. He didn't let one bad thing ruin all the great things that came out of it. He is a great person.

The Man at Subway
I was recovering from a small cold obtained at my school. I make his sandwich. I can't hear him and ask for many repetitions. He tips me. I wish all my customers were like him.

Dasha Gagon.
The nicest girl in my ward. She'll make Guuurl's Camp bearable. She got me water when everyone else was drinking milk. After the three hardest days, that was the nicest thing anyone has done for me selflessly. I cried obviously

Hailey Riss.
Right when I was about to hate my generation of people, she became one of my best friends. She's super great and hilarious. We leave fish on people's doors and plan to make a t-shirt line.

Reed Reimschussel.
A great friend. He is a genius. He doesn't pretend to be anyone else besides himself. He has been there for me, especially when I needed it most.

Alexa Hodsen.
When all I wanted to do was quit and give up, she didn't give up on me. She gave me the encouragement to keep going until the very end.

She was there the entire time for auditions. She helped us to stop freaking out and feel confident. Walking out of my auditions, I felt great because of what she said. She is a wonderful person with an inspiring spirit.

Whether you're experiencing an awful part of a good day or in need of a smile, she is there. She is incredibly kind and gracefully honest. She made it into the piano program at BYU and is talented enough to be in ten of them. She is a wonderful person.
1*21*12
Nicole Guilott
She and I are basically the same person. She's loud and brilliant. She's become my friend and always has something kind to say to me. We enjoy going to Sammy's and listening to British men sing. She sees beauty and can laugh about anything-regardless of the situation.
11*22*11
Talia Merkley
She has my same name, but pronounced differently. We value many similar things, but are two completely different people. She's become a dear friend of mine. She welcomed me into the 'Simeon' family when I transfered into the new Seminary Class. She is always so kind and understands how I feel when I get flustered (which happens frequently). She has an amazing testimony and I feel blessed to know her.

He is one of the greatest actors I have ever personally worked with. He has a sense of humility about him and is humble about his work. His skill exceeds far above my own and gives me something to aim toward. I am grateful for all the work he puts into the Shakespeare Competition: practicly coming everyday, even when we don't need to be there, on time, and ready to work. Who can't be grateful for someone who brings hot chocolate to rehearsals?
8*24*11
Mr. Shelley.
This man makes me want to improve all that I do just by making the class laugh. Within the first day alone, I know that he will help me become who I must be, and for that I am so grateful. He has helped me so much already, and his memory is remarkable.

Because of his choices in vocal coaching at EFY, I came out of that incredibly spiritual week a more confident, bold, free person. That week, he became one of my best friends. I am a better person and a confident one as well. I sing more.

My Clear Creek Counselor Trainer. She helped me in every aspect of Clear Creek. I am a good counselor now, and it is because of her. She made my time there enjoyable. Thank you.

Shea Willardson.
She was my best friend at camp and one of my favorite YCLs. I never felt alone with her around. She drew me fiances with big bellies and jiggily necks. It's pretty attractive, you know?

Andrew Miles.
You are cool. You take time to help my brother with soccer. When we take you out to icecream for payment, you want me to order first. . . because you don't know that I am lactose intolerant. You invite me to Water Fights even though I dump cold water upon your head. You are a great friend.

You taught me how to do the 'H' Drill perfectly in Driver's Ed. I passed Driver's Ed. & Range because of you. Thanks.

Ashli Draney.
She has been one of my greatest friends since the Armpit of Life (a.k.a. Junior High). She calls and asks if I want to hang out. She started ballroom with me in the summer of '10. She even asked if I wanted to go to Seven Peaks with her. No one does that for me, but she did. "Garden Gnomes!" We have the same facial expressions.

Taryn Ramos
One of my oldest friends. Probably since birth, no joke. We went to the same Deaf Ward for church. She forgave me when I accidentally flushed her gorgeous dress up ring down the toilet. Also at church. We went ice skating together. Sixteen years later, she is a cheer leader, and I am a drama nerd. She still talks me me. When no one writes on my wall, she does. She is lurpful.

He breaks the stereotype for football players. He loves EFY and is so nice during church. He marks his scriptures. He told me I make make amazing brownies on facebook. He is just so nice and simply made my day just by being himself: a teenager who eats food.

She is so great. She dances and has a great personality. She is so nice and has been a fantastic friend to me ever since second grade. Tigers, my friends, & chocolate chips.

You would know who you are. You made a decision and you did what you believed that what you did was right for the people around you and the people watching you. More importantly, you did what was right for you. Perhaps you did not understand how this affects people, but you have changed my life. You are great.

You work from 5 am to 5 pm sticking your hands in people's mouths for fun. You drive home in a car with air conditioning that doesn't work. The moment you get home, you do not go on the computer or turn on the television. You kiss your wife and play with your children and hold your new born girl so your wife can make dinner. And you took me to Phantom. Take a bow.
