So I was asked about Boys.
....
And crushes.
....
Of the past.
...
And the present.
...
First of all, I think boys are great; however, I refer to them more often as men. I hate the word 'boy.' It just bothers me, so it's man. Second of all, I love them. Hey! Not like that. Meaning they're pretty spectacular-especially the nice ones. I think it's funny to just hear them talk. I love to be silent when around men, just to hear them talk. It's not because I'm shy-they just are great talkers!
I love to hear them talk about their favorite scriptures. I adore it when they say prayers from the heart in Seminary. I love hearing them sing. Even if it is not a hymn, it's so cool to hear them sing along to their ipod and have the song word for word.
I love to play card games with them. They talk about shampoo with pheromones. Apparently the Axe Shampoo is supposed to attract girls. Andrew, any comment on that?
I love it when they know how to slow dance 'right.' I find that my most favorite dances with men are when they have one hand on your waist and the other in your hand. You go around in a circle over and over again, then they twirl you.
I like it when they open doors for others out of habit. It just reminds me that chivalry is not dead and I can still have high hopes for the men.
I like it when they try to out-do each other on who has the largest hand.
It's funny when they state the obvious answer that the teacher is looking for. While everyone searches for something profound, they just say the obvious and it just releases the tension in the room.
There are so many reasons why I think men are great. Those are the first ones.

(Well, that hurt.)

The past?
In seventh grade, I was totally into Luke Packer-the boy with the long socks. Why? I have no idea. He was the first boy I sat with on the bus.
In eighth grade, I was ... well ... it was kind of a dark land in crushes and my crush ruined my eighth grade life as I knew it. To the one boy that may/may not read this blog: Don't send around rumors that are mean about a girl. It's wrong.
The present?
You're kind of kidding. Right? Oh, wait you were serious. Ha ha-that wasn't funny. Honestly, I've never-not once in my life-ever liked more than one person at a time. And now I do. I think it kind of is terrible. I don't want to be the type of person who will flirt at any male thing that passes by. If you want specifics, talk to me, but I don't really know if I want to post it onto the entire world wide web.
Here's a truth that I like: It's easier for me to like someone who doesn't like me back. Why? Because it gives me freedom to 'obsess' over them. Or like them as much as I please and not worry about feeling the need to 'go out.' I don't want to date yet, though I am SO excited about that in the fall.
(Men: hurry and turn sixteen. Please?)
i enjoyed that (:
