Driver's Ed.
Today was actually a normal day.
I had a normal dream that actually ended.
People died in it nonetheless.
Of course we were all acting. Those crazy step-mothers.
I brought the Brownies from Deanna Buxton's W.W. Cookbook.
I made them yesterday.
I am productive because people don't call to hang out.
They were delicious.
I know because my brother made some more for the family.
I set them upon a red platter and during break time in Driver's Ed,
they began to be consumed by hungry teenagers
who want to drive.
Micah Jones, followed by his companions,
Spencer Romney, & Austin Dominguez,
stared down at my brownies, not knowing that I had made them
the previous day.
He saw me walk into class with food with Megan Lovell,
and told us that we were loved by him.
We laughed it off.
Now that there are brownies involved,
well,
this was a very serious matter.
Not even touching the brownies,
as if they were protected by a magical bubble
to protect it from teenage football players,
they stared down at them.
Talking amongst themselves about the brownies.
"Who made them"
"Are there nuts"
"They look so good"
Standing behind them, I quietly inform them
that the brownies lack nuts.
As if my voice broke the bubble barrier,
Micah reaches down with a napkin to get a brownie.
He takes one bite of it,
basicly finishing the entire brownie,
and tells me they are amazing.
He wipes his face and finishes the brownie.
He does the standard procedure.
"You made these?" He says.
I nod my head.
"May I hug you?"
"No. Of course not. Why would I let you?"
HA! OH, just kidding.
"Sure," I say.
It was the nicest thing anyone had done for me.
Simply love my brownies.

Chick Flick Tuesday.
Rachael, Payton, Sydney, Aubrey.
I never thought they would come.
My entire Mia Maid class.
I love them so much.
We watched Letters to Juliet.
Very chick-flicky.
At the end, we give her the care package.
She looked so happy.
That's what I wanted all along.
I do not have to be afraid for how things turn out.
I am not afraid.

After the girls left, I checked my facebook.
One message, two notifications.
The message was from my brother.
One of the notifications was regarding someone's status.
The last, however, made my day supreme.
"You make the most amazing brownies."
-Micah Jones
Not even my bestest friends write on my wall.
My day is now supreme
