To her,
I wish I could tell you how things could be better. But you won't listen. Trust me, if you just forgive them and yourself and let it all go, you'll be so much better off.
To him,
I wish you were that role model I needed in you, but people can't be the expectations, so you're okay.
To her,
Owning up to what you said is one of the most valuable gifts you can give. If you said it, people know it.
To him,
Thank you for believing in me. I gave up, but you pushed me on.
To her,
If you don't like what people say about what you're wearing, that's it's too revealing or whatever, don't wear it. You'll get classier attention.
To him,
You don't need a girl friend. At least not right now. It's High School.
To her,
If you want more friends, don't push people away. Eventually they'll stop coming back.
To them,
I'd feel a whole lot safer on the road if you made it illegal for everyone to talk on the phone or text and drive. Teens don't do it half as much as adults and we have less to worry about. I promise, it's not inconvenient. It's the opposite.
To hims,
I am so proud of all your choices to serve The Lord. Be strong and of good courage.
To hers,
You're beautiful, I promise. You don't need to starve or call a slim fast a lunch. You don't need make up caked on your face. Your clothes don't need to show that much skin and they only need to be tight enough to show you're a lady-a classy lady.
To me,
Stop saying you're forever alone it you're no good. You can be the best and you will find your person. You are as strong as you believe. Stand up for yourself. Have fun.
Surprisingly, I think I know who at least two of these are about. (:
ReplyDeleteYou should just move to the east coast. I swear, it's superior. Granted, there is a lot more immodesty, but not from members of the church. Out here I find it a lot more common that people actually practice what they preach.
