My uncle had an affair and left his wife and children for his new girlfriend in New York.
Sure he's extended family and it shouldn't bother me. But it does. I believe in love the way people believe in gravity. I always knew my aunt and uncle's relationship had struggles, but things can be fixed.
Not this time.
I'm terrified that my life could be like theirs. Someone else will always be better than me and he will find her.
Please tell me people haven't given up on love just yet. Please tell me happy ever afters still happen.
