Come, Come, Ye Saints, No toil or labor fear.
All is Well. All is Well.
Quick Question: What did the pioneers do for YOU specificly?
We all know that they paved the way for us to live here.
We have a different culture than others.
We live in Utah.
No. What did they do for YOU?
During their hardest times, they did not give up.
They wanted to, I bet. I would.
They faced death, disease, pain, loss of home, hunger, segregation, discrimination,
some families banished the Saints even if they were a part of their own family.
They probably want to know if what they did was worth it.
Although when we live is not pefect,
and it's only going to get worse,
All is Well.
I like this.
ReplyDeleteFor one, I am a direct descendant of a pioneer. If he hadn't made the trek, I literally wouldn't be here.
I think the pioneers set a tremendous example for us. Because tough things happen in our lives. & sometimes we really believe we can't live through it. Pioneer stories help me to suck it up. Because obviously my life is easier than theirs.
What did pioneers do for me?
ReplyDeleteAll of my heritage is pioneer-oriented. If they had not been converted to the Church, I probably wouldn't be here. I look up to them as an example, as Emilee said. :) Thanks. I needed that.
