I was never, ever ashamed of it. Not when I couldn't put on a jacket or when I had to scoot my seat up a ton so I could drive my stick shift. I accepted that oddity and knew it would change and be healed.
We know that we have our own little personal bruises. It may be the complexion of the skin, the weight of the body, or the laugh. What makes that bruise in the picture any different?
It's different because I knew it would change. So will a complexion, body weight, but never change your laugh.
