Thirty to go

With a month eating at me until I depart for Logan, there is a corner in my room dedicated to feed the month. It's a corner full of dishes, appliances, spices and sugars. It is a corner of destiny. It is a corner reminding me why I spend all my days at work and all my money on tuition. It keeps me moving even on the days I just want to be lazy. This corner is my inspiration for the bigger picture. What's yours?

Totally have two of those going!
A pile of new clothes & shoes under my bed.
& also my pile of adultish/domestic things adding up in the corner of my closet.
Bring on this college life.

I met this woman when we were juniors in high school. I'm not sure how our friendship started, but it had something to do with "J'aime les frites" and "les petit pois." Serendipity happens when life does; she and I ended up in the same apartment complex at the same university. She is a strong lady who has given so much help to so many people. She has the kind of strength to tell me when I'm being far too kind and the kind of strength to tell me to accept the help she has to offer. She has been absolutely amazing to all those who have crossed her path. She is going so many places in life and I am proud I could be a part of this place with her.
