Sometimes I think that Taylor Swift stalks me and my future self.
It's been over a month since I completed my sophomore year of high school.
I thought that T.Swift was just kidding when she wrote this song.
I was very, very wrong
 |
| first day of school |
You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors
It's the morning of your very first day.
You say "hi" to your friends you ain't seen in a while
Try and stay out of everyone's way.
 |
I know it doesn't look like it,
but Erik winks all the time. |
It's your [sophomore] year and
you're going to be here
for the next [three] years in this town.
Hoping one of those Senior Boys will wink at you and say
"You know I haven't seen you around before."
'cause when you're [sixteen] and somebody tells you they love you
You're going to believe them
And when you're [sixteen] feeling like there's nothing to figure out,
but count to ten, take it in, this is life
before you know who you're going to be, you're [sixteen].
 |
| Olivia died her hair after Charlie |
You sit in class next to a red head [asians] named [Olivia/Aryn/Paige]
and soon enough you're best friends.
 |
| Aryn and The Loaf |
Laughing at the other girls who think they're so cool,
we'll be out of here as soon as we can.
And then you're on your very first date and [his dad] has a car
and you're [not] feeling like flying.
 |
| Nick: Sadie Hawkin's |
And your mama's waiting up
 |
| Luke: Preference |
you're thinking he's the one
 |
| Blaine: Sweethearts |
you're dancing 'round the room
 |
| Jake: Sweater Swing |
when the lie ends.

| Ben: Prom |
When the lie ends
 |
Nick's character, Henry V, told
Katharine, Princess of France
he loved her. |
'Cause when you're [sixteen] and somebody tells you they love you,
You're going to believe them.
 |
I blacked out the first time
this happened |
And when you're [sixteen] and your first [stage]kiss makes your head spin around
 |
Being nice pays off.
I think that's why I got it, at least
People clapped too hard for me to hear. |
But in your life, you'll do things greater than [getting the lead]
I didn't know it at [sixteen].
 |
| Ashli's fingers |
When all you wanted was to be wanted,
wish you could go back, and tell yourself what you know now.
 |
Disneyland
imagining the ending |
Back then I swore I was going to marry him someday,
but I realized some bigger dreams in mind.
 |
I was really mad at someone
so we bought fish |
And [I have no name to put here] gave everything she had
to a boy that could change his mind.
And we both cried.
'Cause when you're [sixteen] and somebody tells you they love you,
You're going to believe them.
And when you're [sixteen] don't forget to look before you fall.
I found time can heal most anything
And you just might find who you're suppose to be,
I didn't know who I was s'possed to be, at [sixteen]
