Week One: Makeup Mondah

Hullo and welcome to Makeup Monday. It is my deepest hope the video uploaded. If not, we'll work our way around it.

...

welp,  I guess the video is a little public shy right now, so we'll type this week.

My name is Talia and I am a makeup artist for Macy's. I worked closely with Lancôme, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and a bit of MAC.

I am doing this because why not? I also wanted to use this to really show my campaign.

I am a contestant in the Miss Pleasant Grove Scholarship Pageant. Every contestant has a platform, or a campaign, of something they believe in and I believe in beauty. Not the altered, masked beauty we've been exposed to. But the raw, natural beauty everyone has.

Here's the problem. We don't believe it. Until you believe in your beauty internally, you won't believe truly externally. What matters isn't how you feel when you leave the house. It's how you feel when you wash your face at the end of the day; if you love who you see.

If you do, perfect. If you don't, that's okay. That's why I'm doing what I am doing.

For the next month, I challenge you to look in the mirror everyday in your most natural state and tell yourself MINIMUM one thing you love about yourself. You might feel silly but great people are.

Have a good Makeup Monday!
